
The Delaware women's basketball team defeated Northeastern in CAA action tonight at the Bob Carpenter Center, 64-53.
The Hens scored 40 points in the second half to beat the Huskies and improve to 13-14 on the season. The win improved their record in the CAA to 5-11 with less than a week before the CAA tournament begins.
Tesia Harris led Delaware with 17 points, including a three pointer, and six rebounds. Corinthia Benison also had 14 points in the win.
As a team, had Hens had nine blocks and 11 steals. They were 19 for 47 (40.4 percent) from the field and shot 78.1 percent (25 for 35) from the free-throw line.
