Heart breaker, but confidence booster

Hens' head coach KC Keeler sat in a post game press conference along with QB Pat Devlin and DB Charles Graves after the game Saturday lamenting their loss.
"You can't let good teams hang around," Keeler said.
The rhetoric was of anger and disappointment, but it served as proof that Delaware was aware of the feat they had just accomplished. They SHOULD have beaten the number 1 team in the country. While they weren't successful, they established themselves as an elite team in the CAA, and in the FCS.
Today's game was a test for the Hens. It gave some insight into whether they'd be more like the team from 2007 that appeared in the national championship or the team from 2008 that finished the season 4-8. They made big plays on special teams, only turned the ball over once (which, unfortunately turned out to be crucial), and moved the ball against arguably the best FCS defense in the country.
The Hens need to continue to get better and mesh as a team. Next week against Delaware State is a good chance to regroup and move on.
